Capture6 is thrilled to announce that we are one of the 12 impact prize winners by the Global Prize Innovation in Desalination (GPID) held at the Innovation-Driven Water Sustainability Conference (IDWS Conference) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

GPID is one of the most prestigious and competitive awards in global desalination. This year, GPID received 540 applications from 56 countries. Capture6 is fully committed to working with the desalination industry to reduce its carbon footprint by capturing and removing CO₂.

Leo Hyoungkun Park, PhD, our VP of Strategic Development, who represented Capture6 at the event said “We appreciate how the jury panel valued our efforts to expand the traditional mandate of the desalination industry by using desalination plants as conduits to capture CO₂ while recovering more freshwater and reducing brine discharge.
